Northeast Utilities/Connecticut Light and Power announce 21.5% increase in 2006. 17.5% on Jan 1 and 5% in April. A huge increase for power yet what they say they need to maintain reliable service. We're pretty disgusted with these folks. Where we hear a lot about their promotionals, offers and interest in gaining public opinion, hear nothing concerning securing Connecticut's energy grid against widespread outages such as happened in 2004.

SBC, at least in the Northeast has imposed SMTP Port 25 restriction to their default SMTP relay. Fill-out the form at SBC site and wait (up to 12 hours) for a reply. Use web-email or admin access in the meantime.
Other service providers will also follow suit. You'll be able to receive email but but not send when this happens.
